Associate Marketing & Brand Manager

We are looking for a marketing and brand manager to continue to hone the voice of the brand to generate sales leads and build brand awareness. You’ll work across all levels and departments of our organization to find what makes us unique and communicate it to the world. Key responsibilities will include:
Analyze brand positioning and consumer/market insights
Shape and communicate our vision and mission
Own and execute weekly social media posts, blog content, newsletters, marketing emails, etc.
Copywriting for the website and other publications
Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
Lead creative development to motivate the target audience of college and university decision-makers to “take action”
Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities, including on-campus marketing in partnership with clients
Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions
Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics
Demonstrate our products, technology, and services to potential clients and provide product education.
Some travel to customer sites and participation in launches
Qualifications:
2-4 years proven working experience in marketing and brand management
Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives
Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
Data-driven thinking
Outstanding communication skills - writing skills are a must
Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
Degree in marketing or a related field
Experience attending and exhibiting at trade shows
Experience building and maintaining websites. Experience with SquareSpace preferred.
Social media marketing experience
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Self-starter with a track record of achieving targets
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of sustainable packaging and zero waste initiatives is a plus
Knowledge of university dining systems is a plus
Experience with fast-paced start-up environments
This position is hybrid with offices located at 2 Oliver Street in Boston. 2-3 days/week required in the office.
