Highlights From a USEFULL Fall

As our stainless steel cups start to be filled with hot chocolate instead of iced coffees, we're looking back on the past few months here at USEFULL. It's been a busy one as we've launched into a plastic-free fall.

Here are some of the highlights! 🍂

Back to school excitement at USC and Union

We are thrilled that USEFULL has launched our plastic-free solution with two new college partners so far this fall! They've already made a huge environmental impact, and we can't wait to see their waste and emissions savings pile up!

Customer Success Milestones

  • We surpassed 250,000 checkouts - keeping 24,650 pounds of trash out of the landfill (the same weight as 1,643 Halloween pumpkins!) and 77,627 pounds of emissions out of the air (the same as driving from New York to LA 35 times!)

  • The average loss rate for every college is less than 1%! Keeping campus partners satisfied as they know their containers won’t end up in the trash – a guarantee which sets us apart from our competitors!

  • The majority of our containers have been used over 50 times (and we're just getting started!)

USEFULL at the conferences!

This fall, USEFULL has been making an appearance at several conferences! We've loved chatting with others who share our mission!

  • See Change Sessions: In in effort to reduce waste and plastic, all conference attendees ate and drank from our reusable cups and containers!

  • Sustainable Packaging Coalition: Our CEO, Alison Cove, spoke on a panel about how quick-serve restaurants can build successful – and scalable – reusable packaging programs. 💫

Upcoming Events 

  • AASHE 2023: We are excited to be exhibiting at the AASHE 2023 Conference 10/30 - 10/31! If you will be there, come chat with us at Table 18!

  • NACAS C3X Conference: We will be at Booth #466 in Exhibit Hall E at this NACAS conference 11/6 - 11/7 in Toronto. If you will be there, come say hi! 

  • Circular Cities Week Panel: Alison will be moderating a wonderful panel on the Massachusetts circularity and sustainability landscape on November 1.

Exciting news - early next month, we'll release a new version of our app with updated, ADA compliant accessibility enhancements for vision and hearing.
