Survey Says! Users are in Love with USEFULL

We know that the USEFULL system is a great way to help campuses tackle their waste, emissions, and water usage, but ultimately, the people using USEFULL on a daily basis need to have a good experience. 

So, we asked! And we found that users like USEFULL for lots of reasons. Here are a few highlights: 

Convenience

App Usage:  72% of users find the USEFULL app easy to navigate. 

Outside of the app, what makes USEFULL so convenient? This is what respondents had to say:

  • “It’s always there for me if I forget my own reusable mug at home”

  • “I always have my phone on me, so I had an easy time using this and checking things out”

  • “I like how easy it is to return the container just by scanning the QR code”

Food quality

We designed USEFULL containers to keep hot things hot and cold things cold – and users have noticed the difference. 

Here’s what students have to say:

  • “The metal bowls keep my food warm”

  • “Keeps drinks warmer than disposable cups”

  • “The food stays better than in disposables”

Sustainability

Perhaps this is something that you’d expect, but users like USEFULL because it’s more sustainable than single-use. 67% of users see their campus as more sustainable after implementing USEFULL. And when asked about one feature that they like about USEFULL, many users cited sustainability. 

What do students have to say about sustainability?

  • “I like that it is sustainable and our school is producing less waste”

  • “I like the part that has the statistics about how many cups and bowls I rented and the impact I made.”

  • “Sustainability!!!” [note the three exclamation points!]
